Prayers is a way of life to develop a calmness, positive state of mind and awareness, not to live a life of zombies. If u spare 5mins and think...ur whole life dedicate to education, work and family, do u have some time for yourself. If u want to, u will have. Many times we are just lazy. We spend time more on negative and worries. The effort of spending 5 to 10 mins a day on prayers can be so not easy when your life is too comfortable. But when someone of your family sick or u are in trouble u become so dedicated. Why?
For me, everyday without fail, will have at least 5mins in prayers. When I have more time I will do some simple meditation. If not now when?
I meditate by lighting a incense and sometimes just run mala bead by bead over my fingers. Not chanting not thinking.... relax neck , shoulders, heart, jaws and stomach. By the time I run over the mala beads i feel a different.

A: Because u are human, u dont even know, how difficult to have a human body, and how difficult to be in a world where there is Buddha teaching. Q: Bryan, why is my luck still the same even though I pray and chant mantra everyday for 5 years?
A: Master , monk, Pope, nun etc.... also can get sick and accident. Because no one can escape from karma and Old age or fluctuation of luck. but one thing about prayers combine with charity and wisdom, u can lighten alot of problems, ur luck same consider lucky, what if it is worsen.
Q: Bryan, I pray to Mother Mary in church and write petition, but why aren't my prayers answered , I am still sick??
A: Is not about prayers now, u here pray, there no eat healthy or release stress, no Saint can help you.
Q: Bryan, I went to Bangkok and a very high monk give me a buddha pendant. I feel very lucky but now after a year my luck down again why?
Ur luck is not dependant on a Buddha pendant. Buddha pendant and lucky item is to inspire u to have a positive energy. When u receive the Buddha pendant from a master because during the time when Master give u the Qi of the pendant very positive and have Master energy, but when time goes by and u daily no practice and negative.... all things become normal. That is why I always say, good luck item or pendant is there to help u to even more positive . You are impatient. Divine Love and all prayers will be answered. Illnesses are created by our ignorance most of the time. Have you ever think even saint will fall sick and die. It is our thoughts and cultivations that teach us how to handle problems and issues. All of us, including myself need to go through need to go through problems and issues in life without escape. If you have faith, be positive, have a good heart, and you will meet good people to help you and resolve problems quickly. By chanting Tara mantra, you will receive supreme happiness and and extend help to people.
Bryan's views, experience with prayers and true meaning is: Prayers help me to calm my mind, see situation clearly, activate all my body cells to rest, repair and indirectly bring health, using the quality of compassion and love to dissolve all negatives. 
People generally pray with some specific motive, based on the belief that if you pray sincerely you will get what you pray for. It does not cost anything to pray. No great preparation is required to offer a prayer. You can do it easily wherever you are and in whatever condition/situation you find yourself in. In prayers, you combine the synergies of contemplation, concentration and devotion. Through prayers, you augment the power of your thought with the power of God by uniting your mind with the universal mind and elevate your consciousness to step into the world of God (your own religion ). Our prayers awaken the dormant energies lying within us and make the impossible possible. In moments of exalted awareness induced by prayers, we even experience our oneness with our Creator. Bryan's Effective Life Improvement Chanting Mantra method: (5-10mins a day, but dont set rules, begin with 3 times a week)
1) Hold mala (optional) and confess to kwan yin ma or Cundi Kwan yin or Medicine Buddha or Buddha of your negative actions, thoughts accumulated
Example: Oh kwan Yin pusa, past few days I kept loosing temper on my husband, i will slowly change and be a better person
2) Chant mantra 54 or 108 times
3) When chanting, I do not think of my own problems. I just listen to the mantra sound that comes out from my mouth
4) After chanting, I thank Kwan Yin PuSa and dedicate all merits to all beings.
5) Next, I talk to Kwan Yin Pusa about my problems, ask for strength, happiness and dissolve all problems asap. And meet right person in life to assist u.
