Clearing Dampness, Fatigue & Pent-Up Anger
🌿 Part 1: Essential Oil Inhalation & Massage
Smooth and regulate your Liver Qi to ease emotional tension.
Aromatherapy Inhalation
During breaks at home or work, use refreshing or gentle plant essential oils to clear your mind:
Peppermint (Cooling & refreshing)
Rosemary (Focus & clarity)
Lime (Uplifting & bright)
Acupressure Massage
Dilute your essential oils with a carrier oil (jojoba, rice bran or coconut) and gently massage these two key points:
🦶 Taichong Point (LV 3) Located on the top of the foot, in the depression just above the gap between the big toe and the second toe.
📐 Qimen Point (LV 14) Located on the chest, directly below the nipple, in the sixth intercostal space (below the ribcage).
🧘 Part 2: Qi & Blood Circulation
The Liver thrives on movement and openness. Its greatest enemies are feeling "stifled" and "sitting still."
1. Stretch the Liver & Gallbladder Meridians
These meridians run along the sides of the ribs and the outer sides of the lower limbs. Incorporate these daily side-body stretches to directly relieve stagnant energy:
Wide-Legged Forward Bend (Prasarita Padottanasana)
Gate Pose (Parighasana)
Triangle Pose (Trikonasana)
2. Mindful Breathing Technique
When practicing yoga or meditation, focus on deep, slow abdominal breathing:
Inhale: Fill your belly deeply with fresh energy.
Exhale: Intentionally prolong the breath.
Intent: Imagine fully releasing all trapped, stagnant energy and pent-up tension from your chest and belly.
