There is a flu or cough bug running wild now. And is not related to covid. With durian or heaty food , will be more prone to sore throat and cough.
No matter what working with essential Oil can help to prevent or speed up recovery.
Essential Oil like

- Spice up your life oil
- Cypress
This are very good immune booster.
For me I would use coconut carrier Oil (MCT from omhealth no scent and easy absorb) . Example a pump of the carrier oil and a drop Peppermint and a drop lemon oil, mix and apply chest area. “it’s a great antispasmodic and decongestant,Or peppermint and Cypress oil use in a steam bath and inhale.
Tea for cough and recovery
A tea bag of chamomile and a tea bag of peppermint in a tea pot of hot water, steep for 12mins
