Used to be at Bugis Junction where I spent my weekends.

Shuntian Gong (Temple of Submission to Heaven), dedicated to the earth deity Da bo gong （大伯公, was first built in 1796 with many years of History. The temple was first located at Malabar Street and is currently, after several moves, located at Geylang Lorong 29.

Historical Temple is now near my house hehehe..... Just had a chat with the uncle there..... the statues inside the temple have been the same since last time, and they have given a fresh coat of paintings. The energy of the temple is pure, calming and remind us to be a better person. I enjoy coming to this temple. When you kneel down after your prayers, do look up the healing pagoda. I called it the energy center which is rarely found in Singapore. It has the energy of Egypt Pyramid.

When I was a very young boy, I visit my grandma every weekend and will visit this temple at Malabar street(its now bugis junction area).

Praying to Da Bo Gong is part of my faith. As Da Bo Gong symbolise cultivating good karma, helping people and increasing our Fu Qi which indirectly brings about good luck. Da Bo Gong is my Guardian Angel and I feel Da Bo Gong has helped many people who put in effort and need extra help at work.

Lazy people who did not put in effort and hard work in their work but thinks that prayers can help them to success easily can drop this ignorant thought of yours. If you are lazy, I suggest you pray for wisdom and wake up to your wishful thinking.

Another important point to take note. After your pray, you may experience a sudden increase in your work load. You can complaint if you want, but you go back to square one. No one can help you.
When we pray for career advancement and promotions, Da Bo Gong will send different angels to test us with more challenges for a certain period of time. If you start complaining, cursing and swearing, the secretary will report to Da Bo Gong, who does not want to see you suffering, will hold back your promotion till you are ready.

Which is true and practical because as a result of promotion, you have to take up more tasks and responsibilities. Do you have the capabilities and cope with the stress that comes along?
