According to Taoist History, 8th Day of Lunar 1st Month (農曆正月初八) is the Day where all Star Lords descend down to the Earth to conduct inspections and also, cleanse the surroundings.

Do pray to the sky with flower coin and say some auspicious words. Pray for others, your enemies and world peace from your heart. It is very important that we learn to generate intention of happiness and joy from our heart. Everyone wants happiness, so just pray for others too. Be selfless and slowly cultivate the heart of loving kindness and great compassion. This is the highest blessing.
