World Wide News: Druidry-- All must know...

LONDON — Druidry has been officially recognized as a religion in Britain under charity law.
The Charity Commission has granted the Druid Network charitable status, giving it tax breaks and equal status to mainstream religions like Christianity.
The commission said Saturday that druidry has a coherent and serious set of beliefs and that it offers a beneficial ethical framework. It also says that the Druid Network's work in promoting druidry as a religion is in the public interest.

Congrats: A great religion of nature and love.

Stonehenge is surely Britain's greatest national icon, symbolizing mystery, power and endurance. It is called an astronomical observatory for marking significant events on the prehistoric calendar. It was a sacred site for the burial of high-ranking citizens from the societies of long ago.

It is believed that Stonehenge was built as a sacred monument used for meetings and religious purposes. The key stones are aligned with major major solar and lunar events including Solstices and Equinoxes.

The legends say that Merlin himself levitated these stones from Ireland and modern Driuds hold it among their most sacred sitesand still perform ceremonies there. On December 31st, 1900one of the stones tipped overushering in a new era of excavation but there is no way to carbon date stone or place the many distinct construction phases unquestionably in any established timeline.

Druids are also typically homeopathic healers and astrologers. However Druids are principally the teachers of Truth who assist their aspirants in seeing the divine spirit within themselves and indeed within all things. Druids use natural science and experience to verify truths and spiritual development is an interactive process and not a faith. A triad of the three fundamental Principles of wisdom is: Obedience to the Laws of God effort for the welfare of mankind and heroically enduring the unavoidable ills of life.
