Sometimes when I ask my students to do self reflection daily and do prayers or good deeds. They hesitated say no time etc. But when bad luck arrived, they will go all the way to travel to do things like charity work and etc.... (what is the intention , u ever ask when u do charity work?)
Facts
We have no problem working hard to organise a holiday, party for love one, or make a profit at work , or no matter how tired u will rush to meet ur customer.... Because this are importance to us.
On deeper level, if you ever ever know that human life is so precious and , importance of doing prayers, self reflection daily and also overcoming BIG Obstacles because of ur karma is important... than u will not ask me below question:
: "Bryan Lao shi can I chant prayers once a week because I no time"

As a teacher , I am speechless sometimes... that's why I start to scold people like my teacher... But lately I don't anymore... Because everyday there are new students... I cant scold people everyday.
I will just say: Shui Yuan: If u have karma u learn, if don't, even Buddha infront of u and want to help u, you also cant be helped.
If we know the importance of prayers, doing good, compassion wisdom and self reflection development, we wont be lying in bed when we know the need to purify obstacles from our mind and be a better person.
Just from today:
Change our mindset in many things. As long as you don't change, your luck and happiness level remains the same.
When I activated the heng ball, I accumulated whatever prayers merits receive to the heng ball, main wishes is to let those who have heng ball , open their heart of love to Universe and care for people. That is the intention of every heng ball.
Do you know, there is an evil though arises whenever we want to do good. Example telling us is better to go for a movie relax than seating on meditation cushion and chant or to go old folks home to do good. ( I know many want do charity because of luck.... so if today, u make an effort when u do charity, u dedicate to all beings.... ur merits will be big)
U know whenever I do volunteer at elderly home or feed the aged. After that I immediately dedicate all this merits to all beings. Because when a person lost temper or bad thoughts, it burns away your merits.
Again, before do volunteers, do take care of your own home and elderly first.
Poison of Anger especially 2014
U can do 10 years of good deed accumulated aeons of merits but it take 1 minute of anger to burn away all your merits.

And many like to stand infront of the altar and pray like no body business blocking all the way.... haiz... u think u stand close kwan yin will look at ur nearer and answer faster meh.....
I hope all new comers... U know the motivation behind all my good luck items . They are to overcome the unlucky star and also make it easier for u to be a better person. Because when a person has too much suffering they have no time to be a better person.... Example if a person suffers in HELL, every seconds is punishment, this person where got time to think of Buddhist teaching or self development.
So dearest all, rejoice and do u know being able to be a human being is already a treasure... U don't know accumulate how many merits to be a human body.
All obstacles, seems so small, ur boss, ur colleagues, difficult people... just spin aways like a heng ball.
