8 years ago whenever I give workshop on Welcome Chinese New Year seminar, i was like very stress, can I talk about praying method etc.... Than one day a master told me... well is CHINESE NEW YEAR a chinese new year tradition.... U are ok to talk about it and is a ancient chinese tradition observation and people should come with harmony and open minded. Amazingly after that year in 2004, many of my Welcome Chinese New Talk has friends from different religion, who come and support me:>
Respect , Love and Harmony is very important for religious harmony. I go for service in Church, Catholic Church ,Hindu Temple, Taoist Temple and Buddhist Temple.
I love Singapore even though everything is so expensive now and packed in MRT or bus. One thing I am proud of is [ RELIGIOUS HARMONY ]. There is a reason for everything, because of this religious harmony , Singaporean is in fact a very blessed country with blessing from So many Divine Love:>Zero natural disaster and you can have a focus set of mind to do what you want. Every few steps easy to buy food etc.
So if you can, work with this energy of healing and when you pray smile and have faith. The blessing is always in the air..... (U know what I mean) If many people of different religion everyday pray and you just pray happily and dedicate the prayers too all people, see how much merits you accumulated?
But I am asking all you.... hmmm how long have you not seat down 5 mins a day to pray? No time? well .... dont sms me why this blockages that blockages....
For me the Kia Su Bryan, I always think if I respect all religion, than my blessing comes to me all over... (aiya this was my ignorance thinking when young, ahahah may be is true hor, forgive me
If you think carefully, many thousand years ago what all this religious Head like Buddha taught is about love, care, wisdom. Nothing about criticism.of good health as a balanced interaction between the mind and body as also life and environment.
In all religions, you are taught to :
Keep promises, don't lie, don't steal, help people, take care of yourself, don't hurt people; attend a place of worship regularly, or worship regularly, or otherwise frequently affirm your faith. By praying, meditating, asking for forgiveness, repenting, etc., you give praise to the Higher and improve your standing with the Higher and/or come closer to being with the Higher.
All religions encourage good behavior, or moral behaviour
In Judaism, see Leviticus 19:18 NIB. "What is hateful to you, do not do to your fellowman."
In Christianity, see Luke 6:31 NIB. "Do to others as you would have them do to you."
In Islam, see a hadith recorded by al-Bukhari, Sunnah: "No one of you is a believer until he desires for his brother that which he desires for himself."
In Hinduism: Mahabharata 5,1517: "Do naught onto others what you would not have them do unto you."
Buddhism's Udana-Varga 5,18: "Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful."
