Happiness and You

More than 10 years ago my teacher taught me, there is a lesson behind every crystal. Everytime if you hear something meaningful , take note and share.

Do you wonder?

How can you feel lonely in a crowd? Singapore is a country with so many things to do. One can access to friends easily through phone , mobile etc... why are you still lonely and not happy?

Many people are feeling this way because we forget to cultivate certain virtuous.... The virtuous of compassion, love and patience. When you are equipped with these.......sadness and unhappiness will not be able to attack you so easily.

We are always unhappy because we tends to place our happiness more important than anyone else. For example in your office, of different departments, you may feel that your department is always better than the rest. If you are in school, you always wanted your class to be better than the others..... Comparison and feeling of unequal... comes in.

Steps to be happy and lucky

1) Stop thinking " I am special".... . All of us are the same. You can be a Senior manager in Office but you still need to clear your bowels everyday. There are many pebbles on the sand beach, whether the pebbles are round, sharp or oval shape, they are still pebbles.

2) Start to remember kindness from other people. Understanding the fact that Others want to be happy too. Who are you to take away their happiness...

As time goes by, you will have a more balance , calm and peaceful life....

3) Usually we classified people to 3 groups:

A) People you like

B) People you do not like

C) People you do not care...

Now, hold your mala and put it near your chest. Think of the 3 groups of people, bring them together and develop a loving kindness feeling for them..... Everyone is the same....

See what happen...... Slowly you feel happiness from within.
