Dong Zhi 冬至

冬至 is a day of celebration. The origins of this festival can be traced back to the Yin & Yang philosophy of balance and harmony in the cosmos. It was believed that after the celebration, there would be an increase in positive energy flowing in. Please eat a few Tāng Yuán 湯圓. Don't be lazy. Eat and you will know how good luck you will be :p Trust me... I observed I know :D

冬至is Yin and Yang exchange day; 是上天赐予的福气。Since Han Dynasty, it is a day of prayer and celebration.

They once said 冬至 is a 'bigger' occasion than Chinese New Year. To me, I learnt from my master that 冬至 is a turning point to have good luck :D

Nowaday, it may not be easy to find many rich businessmen like our grandparents' time. According to my study, I think it is important to observe this day 冬至. Some of the very successful businessmen with big businesses observed this day and ensured to have super good luck. The younger generation should not forget our roots; should not forget to observe this day. Business person of the younger generation should also reflect why they are not doing as well/successful as their ancestors.

Once a master said, there are some people who pray a lot but their luck is still block .....because they did not practise "Drink water, Remember the source".
To all who are feeling blocked in your luck, please pay respect to your ancestors in temple or from your heart and say words of gratitude to your ancestors.

According to Bryan's calculation the 冬至 time is 12月22日1时47分。The sun will shine at 270 degree. I will do prayers for good luck and send to all. Buy small items for good luck. Buy auspicious cakes or anything auspicious and put at home. Drink red dates tea too :)
