Prayers for good luck

The moment I stepped on Ubin that day, I went to the temple and prayed that all who attended my workshops to be happy.

Everyone has the right to choose our own belief/religion. I have visited mosque, catholic church, Christian church, Taoist temple and Buddhist temple. I learnt something in common: Peace, Harmony, Loving kindness and Compassion. Great religious leaders never criticise other religions. Living in a multi racial country like Singapore, definetly require much understanding, tolerance and respect for each other. Only when we practice such virtues, we can live together in harmony. All of us should learn to listen and see things with an open heart. Critising and gossiping is not constructive at all and its also certainly not a good thing. Never criticise or belittle another religion/race. No matter what religion you are, you should pray for peace, harmony and the strength to overcome obstacles. Life without obstacles is not possible. It is only through obstacles, we will become a stronger person.

Bryan's Prayer techniques:

1. I am a temple person. Whenever I step into a temple, I will put on a smile. Following that, I will kneel and have a small confession (eg: rude to parents, lose my temper etc). I will sincerely ask God for forgiveness and strive to improve myself to be a better person[must be realistic!!! Don't make unrealistic or empty promises; must really have the determination to change for the better]

2. Then I will pray for world peace... Parents, friends and customers.

3. Lastly, I will pray for good business and those who know me to be happy and at peace.

Most people are more concerned with their own problems. They will start asking this and that when they step into the temple. This is wrong. Going temple/church is not being superstitious. It is cultivating our human heart, purifying our heart to get in touch with our soul. And how to be a better person.
Sometimes I will also go to Novena church to sing songs and the joyful environment makes me feel so happy.
